Description
Wild rice – technically not actually rice but an aquatic grass that is native to North America. It takes around 45 minutes to boil normally, but this variety has been roasted (roasting times determine how much water is left in the rice, ergo, how much time it takes to cook) meaning you can have perfect wild rice in just 20 minutes. It adds a nutty flavour and fantastic colour to a wide variety of rice dishes and salads.
